Archive Format: The Trading Card
So I'm thinking about the archive and the format and how to present these images best. First I did just photos with a watermark, then I came back and did photos on placed backgrounds with watermarks, and THEN I thought, for all this work I've done already I should make these into trading cards!! So now for your viewing pleasure I give you the format that we will carry on with...
The Gum Card!!!!
Ah, the Gum Card, the hidden citizen of the sock drawer, the musty non-plaything that filled books, boxes and bike spokes. Not sure if we will see a battle damaged variant of this or if it may become the mainstream. I'd like to not diminish the value of the photography, so we may find some compromise. There are crop marks on the cards so when printed in series they are easier to cut out in sheets. We've finally landed on our final format for photography so... here's to hopefully a final photo session. I may print mine on comic backer if possible. Let's get this set together!!!
*You know. Its even possible for you to use this .png as a border for your own collection photography...
Enjoy!!!

Welcome to GeekSummit's pol•y•mer•phe•li•a
This is a blog that as of yet is blank... BUT I do plan to make this the virtual home to my collection of childhood plastic playthings. I hope to catalog this page by vintage brands (Super Powers/MOTU/Star Wars). These are the toys that fueled a lifelong hobby of collecting, customizing, and design. I know I'm not the only one for sure so definitely click around (once there is content) and enjoy the pictures.
